Mar 11,  · MORBID SAINT is another one of those unfortunate bands who probably will be unjustly forgotten by 99% of all metal "historians". MORBID SAINT only released one demo(as far as I know) called "Spectrum of Death" in , and probably would have been completely overlooked had that demo not been rereleased on Grindcore Records in /5(30).

It was produced by Eric Greif and engineered by Al Pangeliron. It is often hailed as one of the best thrash metal albums ever made, as well as one of the fastest and most abrasive in the genre; 5/5(18).

In fact this compilation is a rather thorough anthology of the remarkable brutal thrash metalheads MORBID SAINT from Wisconsin. These three CDs indeed are a valuable gain for the old-school fans (having in mind how hard you can find the other releases of the band).

Aug 29,  · Re-released set of 'Spectrum of Death' album and the 'Destruction System' demo, both remastered. Also includes four newer songs and a live DVD. Burned on high quallity cd-r's and dvd-r's. There is no back insert due to the triple case used.5/5(2).

Morbid Saint was a favorite opener for Death during those days, culminating in the infamous Metalfest 12/89 featuring Death, Acrophet and Morbid Saint. 'Spectrum of Death' was recorded at Opus Recording (later known as Wave Digital once they removed the beloved 2'' tape machines in favour of inferior Akai Digital Audio Machines) in Gurnee.
